RACE INFORMATION
TPK FAFO! So what's with the name? Well, NJ in early March could be cold, cool, or warm-ish. There could be rain, sleet or snow. With that the name FAFO stands for F Around and Find Out is inviting you to sign up, show up and find out. The course is made up of two separate out and backs roughly totaling 22 miles with approximately 4400ft of elevation gain.
Race Summary
TPK FAFO is made up of 2 out and back routes with the start/finish area staged in the day use lot near the main office. The first out and back will follow a variation of the Spring Trail, Mountain Trail and Ghost Lake Trail and back which will total ~6 miles and ~1300ft of elevation gain. The second out and back it the Jenny Jump trail which will total ~16 miles with ~2900ft of elevation gain. The route order may change but we will make the final call before the race week email is released.
Along the Jenny Jump trail there are multiple road crossings. We will have someone stationed at the 611 crossing for safety but you will need to cross the remaining roads at your our risk.

We will have packet pick up available at race day check in but highly recommend heading to Root Runners the day prior.
**Registration closes February 28th. We will not have on-site registration available.**
Things to Note
- We will have 2 aid stations. HQ and the Jenny Jump trail end point.
- Drop bags are only allowed at the HQ start/finish area.
- Crewing is only allowed at the HQ start/finish area.
- No on-course support allowed.
- No pacers allowed.
- Trekking Poles are allowed.
- Prepare for all weather conditions.
